Newnan Patient Story Tyler Payton


After losing control of his car while driving around a curb on Sept. 28, 2015, Tyler Payton endured burns all over his body and multiple injuries including the loss of both legs and the inability to speak. Tyler was airlifted to Grady Medical Center where he remained in a coma for a month. He was transferred to HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Newnan where he worked with Speech Language Pathologist Allison Skinner on swallowing and speech in addition to his time spent with physical and occupational therapy. Hear from Allison and Tyler's mom about his amazing progress during his stay.
